Silk Blooms are the leading manufacturer of bespoke artificial flowers in the UK. They sell loose stems and arrangements to two major markets; weddings and commercial, with a mix of direct sales and third-party vendors. They supply display flowers to an impressive array of clients including brand owners such as Estee Lauder, Jo Malone, Harrods and Harvey Nichols.
The client wanted to understand the purchasing decisions of buyers in each area, how this related to their own strengths and use this as a basis for a marketing strategy for the next 3-5 years. RPL Marketing's solution was to conduct customer interviews, research the market size scale and opportunities, before making recommendations on where Silk Blooms should focus their resources. This included production of e-news and targeting of sectors and locations. A template e-news design and calendar were produced.
